Abbey and Gabe | Noerenberg Gardens Proposal

Last summer I had plans to be home in Minnesota for some work and to visit with family. My sister’s boyfriend had been hoping to propose around this time. When Gabe asked me to photograph the proposal of course I said YES! It was fun to conspire together about where and when to do it! I even made my sister believe that I was flying into town later that evening when I had already arrived earlier that day! She knew it would happen soon since they had been talking about getting married and even had gone ring shopping, but she didn’t know exactly how it was going to happen.

I planned to arrive before them at Noerenberg Gardens where Gabe had given me a small gift to leave on a certain bench for them. We planned a location where I would be hidden but able to see them walking up to the bench. I was able to capture everything and then surprise my sister as Gabe told her to look back behind them! I was shaking and crying with so much excitement for them!

It meant so much that Gabe let me be there and that I could capture this very special moment for them! I am so happy for my sister who has found her perfect partner for life! I will be sharing their amazing engagement session very soon on the blog as well!!
